Q This discussion is concerned with the PESTEL environments and how they impact industry dynamics. There is a lot of room for critical thinking in this assignment and I look forward to reading very varied answers. Question 1: Managers have to constantly assess the developments and changes that occur in all six PESTEL components of the macro-environment: Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Environmental, and Legal forces. Identify and describe one current change of strategic relevance in any of the six PESTEL components. Your textbook (p. 50, Table 3.1) provides examples of changes in each of the six forces. For the purposes of this question, only describe one change in one single environment. Question 2: Please refer to the Industrial Classification Benchmark (Links to an external site.) and select one specific sector (any supersector, sector, or subsector) that may be impacted by the environmental change you selected for Question 1. Does your identified environmental change represent an opportunity or a threat for your specific sector? Why? (please focus only on a threat or an opportunity for the purposes of this assignment, not both). To get the maximum points for this discussion, you must make (A) make an initial post to answer both questions above and (B) reply to at least one other post. Grading rubric for both posts: Answers to this assignment are subjective. Therefore, I am only grading your posts based on the following objective aspects: • Substantive Thoughts Expressed: Your thoughts and positions should be clearly explained. • Length: Initial posts should be at least 5 sentences long. Response posts should be at least 3 sentences long. • Completeness: Your initial post should cover all parts of the discussion question(s).

Question 1: One change in the political element of PESTEL analysis is the way in which the international relations are changing for different countries especially the international relations of many countries (including America and India) with China. Therefore, the moves made by newly developed rival countries against China can become detrimental to the moves made by China to sustain its international relations with countries like in the past before occurrence of COVID-19.
